13 people have been killed in a fresh attack in Pensa village, some 200 Kilometers north of the capital city, Ouagadoougou. The attack comes just as the Commissioner of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, wrapped up his visit of the Sahel region, to assess the magnitude of the humanitarian crisis caused by militant attacks across the region. According to security sources, the security situation in the area is swiftly deteriorating. At least 18 civilians were killed on Monday, after unidentified gunmen launched an attack in the northern part of the country. And on Saturday, heavily armed men on motorbikes attacked Lamdamol village, north of the capital.
