Published
The 28th African Union summit has concluded in Addis Ababa, with some ground-breaking decisions for the continent. Leaders are set to start implementing the body's self-financing plan -- which covers operational costs. African heads of state have also agreed to adopt the AU reform plan which will ensure the continental body's duties are in line with Africa's transformation agenda. Following an emotional debate, Morocco has been readmitted to the organisation after a 33-year absence. Newly elected AU chair, Alpha Conde has hailed the summit a success.
