Isabel dos Santos, Africa’s richest woman and daughter of Angola’s former president Jose Eduardo dos Santos has found herself in the middle of a political scandal never before seen in the country’s 44 year history. In dec 2019, The Angolan government led by Joao Lourenco, a former close associate of Isabel’s father, brought charges against Isabel dos Santos for the loss of over 1 billion dollars in public funds.
