The Libya peace process is expected to feature prominently in talks between United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres and Egypt's President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi later today in Cairo. Guterres is currently touring the region and has already held meetings with the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, as well as the crown prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Earlier the new UN chief spoke to the World Government Summit in Dubai, asserting that restoring trust in politics and institutions is the key to resolving global conflicts.
