Burkina Faso holds elections amid fear of attacks

Polls have closed in Burkina Faso’s presidential and parliamentary elections. Millions of voters turned out despite fears of attacks, but things were largely peaceful.
President Marc Kabore who is seeking re-election is being challenged by 12 other candidates in a race many expect him to win.
But his term has been marred by attacks which armed groups have staged.
