The Constitutional Court of Central African Republic has upheld President Faustin Touadera's re-election.
The opposition had challenged the results of last month's vote and had asked for a recount.
But Touadera's second term is under threat of violence by a coalition of armed groups against him.
Two UN peacekeepers were killed just hours after the verdict.
Al Jazeera’s Malcolm Webb reports from the capital, Bangui.
