Concerns For South Africa's Whale Migration

A marine conservation issue in South Africa is playing out off the shores of Hermanus, near Cape Town. Some experts fear the annual migratory pattern of whales is being affected by the El Nino weather phenomenon. Every year pregnant Southern Right whales make the long journey from the icy Antarctic waters to give birth in the shallow warm waters of Hermanus. This year though, the weather pattern that caused one of the country's worst droughts has also affected marine mammals. CCTV's Travers Andrews has this report
