Thousands of officials are gathered for the opening of the twenty-second Conference of the Parties in Morocco. Officials say they're coming into COP-22 with tremendous positive momentum. That is after the Paris climate agreement came into effect earlier this month. It's the most comprehensive international plan to combat the worst effects of rising global temperatures. Previous meetings have shown that both developing and developed nations can still disagree on how ambitious emissions cuts need to be.
