Egypt Introduces New Penalties For Female Genital Mutilation

An Egyptian law introduces harsher punishment for violations of the country's ban on Female Genital Mutilation. A recent study shows that 92-percent of Egyptian women aged between 15 and 49 undergo the procedure. However, experts say harsher punishments aren't enough to address an issue embedded within the culture of the Egyptian society. Here is Adel EL Mahrouky with more.
