Egypt boasts some of the best table-tennis players in the world. In the women's national team, Dina Meshref is by far the most successful in the sport. She has been an African champion since she started at the Under-18 level. This year, Meshref begins a professional career in Germany after leading Egypt to victory at the 2019 African Games.
