After nearly eight months of fighting and displacement, the conflict in Ethiopia's Tigray region has taken a new turn.
Last year, the federal government declared victory over the Tigrayan People's Liberation Front after seizing the regional capital, Mekelle.
Seven months of conflict followed, in which thousands were killed.
Then it all changed on Monday when the TPLF took the regional capital Mekelle back.
The government-appointed administration fled and then asked for a ceasefire.
