COVID-19 has affected many industries — including filmmaking. Like in many other countries, filmmakers in Kenya have been struggling during the coronavirus pandemic. Shows, premieres and shoots have been postponed, and film sets packed up. Many filmmakers have lost their income and livelihoods. Kenyan Gregory Kiwo, however, has taken the downturn as an opportunity to be more creative. In this episode, Wanjiku Mwaura speaks to Gregory Kiwo on how he and other Kenyan filmmakers are coping.
