Boko Haram literally means Western education is illegal. So how does a "Western school" operates in a territory constantly raided by the Nigeria-based terrorist group? The group has been constantly raiding schools and kidnapping schoolchildren.

Cameroon's government in October closed 60 schools on the country's Nigerian border to protect children and staff from Boko Haram militant attacks. One NGO has stepped in with a free school that it considers safe.
