Kenya's health workers face danger every day when treating patients. With the COVID-19 pandemic, their exposure to the virus has brought even more danger. But health professionals and unions say they are being exploited in unsafe working conditions, not being given proper insurance coverage, and not being paid on time. There are also concerns that the COVID-19 vaccine, which is set to arrive only in Kenya next month, will be too little, too late.
