Several multi-million rand development projects are currently being carried out in the Mangaung Metro, which includes Bloemfontein. The projects are part of a massive development node along the N-Eight road between Bloemfontein and Botshabelo. The development-corridor node will also ease congestion between Botshabelo and Bloemfontein by creating more jobs closer to where residents live. It will also be an economic injection for the area.
