Manufacturing Sector In Nigeria Sees Steady Decline

If there is one sector in Nigeria that has take a big hit as a result of the economic recession in that country, it is manufacturing. The sector has witnessed a steady decline made worse by the inability of manufacturers to secure scarce foreign exchange to import vital raw materials. Quite a number of factories have had to close shop and those who are still in business say they are managing to stay open. It's indeed a tough time for local manufacturers in Nigeria and Deji Badmus has been speaking to the President of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria about some of the difficulties they are confronted with and what needs to be done to address their complaints.
