Nairobi Based Research Scientist Shares Benefits of COVID-19 Clinical Trials and Vaccines in Africa

A prominent African research scientist says, if the world is to get a handle on the COVID-19 pandemic, it is vital that a vaccine is tested, regulated and taken on the continent.

Catherine Kyobutungi, a research scientist with the African Population and Health Research Center, says Africa needs a vaccine that works for its people. VOA Our Voices met up with Kyobutungi in Nairobi, Kenya, where she is trying to change hearts and minds about the benefits of COVID-19 clinical trials and vaccines.
