Tanzania is one of Africa's fastest-growing economies but its infrastructure is struggling to keep up. The UN projects that Dar es salaam alone will double in size by 2035. In view of this it needs more roads. The Ubungo Interchange, one of the city's biggest infrastructure projects, is an example of how authorities plan to accommodate a growing population.
