Nigeria: Corruption, land confiscations blamed for rising poverty

A scramble for scarce land in Nigeria is pushing millions of people into poverty, according to activists.
In 2018 Nigeria overtook India as the country with the largest number of people living in extreme poverty.
Experts say it is largely because of corruption, land confiscations and the manner in which resources are distributed.
