The Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service Muhammad Babandede has approved the flag off of the 7th passport office upgraded to issue enhanced passport.
The Spokesman of the service, DCI Sunday James in a statement issued to newsmen on behalf of CG Babadede noted that the Comptroller General of Immigration was represented by the Zonal Coordinator,Zone A, Lagos Assistant Comptroller General of Immigration Service ACG Doris Braimah.
The FESTAC Passport Centre is under Deputy Comptroller Adeola Adesokan
The service stated that with the enhanced passport, applicants are expected to apply online, pay online and approach the passport office with evidence of payment and a National Identity Number issued by National Identity Management Commission and be Enrolled for their choice passport booklet either a 32 Page 5year, 64 Page 5Year, 64Page 10year which they say is all in the interest of Nigerians home and in the Diaspora.
The Service has also adviced passport applicants to Shun touts and ensure they pay online and not cash to help fight touting in all passport offices across the Country.
