There are concerns Eid celebrations in Senegal could see a new surge in COVID-19 cases.
Tight restrictions are in place in the capital, Dakar, but officials are worried about gatherings held elsewhere.
Daily cases have surged from just a few dozen a month ago, to nearly 1,000 on Tuesday.
