Shona people in Kenya filled with joy after acquiring citizenship

Christmas celebrations started early for the 1,670 stateless Shona people and 1,300 stateless people of Rwandan descent who were awarded Kenyan citizenship recently. The Shona people came to Kenya from Zimbabwe and settled in the country and were never recognized as citizens until recently. Take a look;
