Drought stricken farmers in the Graaff-Reinet area will receive much needed assistance today. Eight truckloads of fodder have been delivered through the assistance of humanitarian organisation, The Gift of the Givers.
Graaff-Reinet is experiencing its worse drought in more than forty years. To date livestock producers have been forced to reduce their flocks and herds by between 50% and 70%.
