South African Mine Union, AMCU is once again ruffling feathers in the country's mining industry. The Union accepted a wage offer from one of the country's big gold mining companies. But it agreed to do so outside of the collective bargaining council. The South African Chamber of Mines usually negotiates with unions on behalf of the gold mining sector.
