Sudan faces persistent human smuggling, trafficking from Ethiopia

Despite a border dispute and the closure of all crossings between Sudan and Ethiopia, human smuggling and trafficking from Ethiopia continue.
That’s according to Sudanese authorities who arrested more than 30 smugglers over the past two months and released over 100 Ethiopians. Weapons and drugs have also been caught with smugglers.
