Uganda election: are young people the X-factor?

Uganda's general election scheduled for January 14, 2021, has seen some of the worst violence in decades. Incumbent President Yoweri Museveni is battling it out with opposition candidate Bobi Wine for the presidency. While a generational gap, politics, and campaigns separate the two candidates, one thing unites Bobi Wine and Museveni. Both politicians are desperately trying to woo young Ugandans to vote for them. DW looks at how young people have taken a pivotal role in deciding the Ugandan election.
