Uganda on edge in election aftermath

Published
Uganda's presidential election results were annouced over the weekend, with incumbent Yoweri Museveni declared the winner. Meanwhile, his main opponent, Bobi Wine, has not been seen for days since the election, effectively under goverment house arrest. He has said there was widespread fraud and that many Ugandans were not allowed to vote. There is still a strong military presence in the capital Kampala, and while Museveni's supporters celebrate, Bobi Wine's followers are hoping the international community might influence what comes next.
