Ugandan Gov't Seeking $15 Million To Provide Food To Vulnerable Households

Published
Uganda is seeking close to $15 million to provide food and water relief to vulnerable households facing starvation. This is due to a widespread food shortage that has been triggered by the long dry spell. Harvests have been decimated in most food producing areas. The government says the food security situation is getting worse and requires urgent attention. CGTN's Michael Baleke visited Nakasongola District, one of the most affected areas in the country.
