Unrest in Ethiopia's Tigray region?

Ethiopia's prime minister, Ahmed Abiy, has reacted strongly to reports that a military base in the country's northern Tigray region has been taken over by local separatist forces. Abiy has accused the region's ruling party, the Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF), of seizing the base. There have been widespread power outages and an internet shutdown in Tigray since the alleged seizure. DW takes a closer look.
