Wheat shortage, price rise turns Benin to plantains

Demand for plantain is spiking in Benin as prices continue to be driven upwards by Ukraine conflict. According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations(FAO), Benin produces around 19,000 tons of plantain per year. CGTN Africa's Najma Abdirizak takes a look at how Beninese are substituting wheat flour for plantain flour, and why they are making the switch.
